The Psychology of Money
Wealth is less about math and more about behaviour — the money book I wish I'd read at 22.
Why it's on the shelf
This reframed money for me as a behaviour problem, not a spreadsheet problem. Housel's point — that doing well with money has little to do with how smart you are and everything to do with how you behave — landed hard.
Short chapters, real stories, no jargon. The ones on compounding and on knowing what 'enough' means quietly changed how I think about saving and about when to stop chasing more.
